Delivery and Returns

Delivery time

Delivery takes place within 3-5 days after the placement of your order. In case you pay via prepayment (cash in advance), we initiate delivery after the receipt of the payment. Delivery prolongs if there are delays in delivery from circumstances that were not caused by us, particularly through force majeure, transport bottlenecks, disturbance of operations, machine breakdowns, etc. In case there are delays, you will be informed by us. This does not apply for reduced articles - they can only be delivered as long as they are in stock.

Generally deliveries will be executed by our service partner GLS. We do not deliver to post boxes. We are not liable for wrong deliveries due to incomplete or incorrect customer data.

Delivery costs

For orders over €40 there are no delivery costs for shipping and returns within Germany and Austria (delivery by POST). For orders under €40, shipping costs of €4.90 apply.

We deliver our products to all countries that are listed in the table below. Please note that the costs of delivery vary for each country. Countries that are marked with a star (*) have additionall tolls and import charges which have to be paid by the customer at arrival of delivery.

What happens if am am not at home when my order arrives?

Our logistics partner GLS alternatively will ask a neighbour if he accepts the parcel for you. In case no neighbor accepts the parcel, GLS will bring it to the next GLS parcel shop in case there is a shop nearby. There you can pick up the parcel from the day after unsuccessful delivery for eight days.
In case no parcel delivery is possible - not even with your neighbor or a GLS parcel shop - the parcel goes back to the GLS-depot, where it is available to be picked up by you.
The GLS employee will leave a written notice in case you are not home. There you can find all relevant information for you to pick up your parcel. This written notice also authorizes a third person to pick up your delivery in your place.



Returns

How do I return an article? 

Customers from Austria and Germany:

1. FILL OUT RETURN NOTE:
Before you repackage and tape up your return, please make sure that the return note is filled out inside the package. You can't find the return note? On  a  piece of paper, write down your name, order number and how you want the return to be processed (replacement delivery or refund).

2. AFFIX RETURN NOTE:
Use the return label from your invoice document and affix it on the parcel. Make sure you removed the initial address label or just oversticker the return note. You can't find the return label? Please contact our costumser service: office@gottstein.at

3. SEND PACKAGE:
Bring the package to a GLS store nearby. Under this link you can find a GLS store near your location:

Customers from other countries:

1. FILL OUT RETURN NOTE:

3. SEND PACKAGE:
For customers from the EU: Send the package on the cheapest way back to us. Please let us know about your costs of the return: Send us a photo or scan of the receipt of the delivery costs (email: office@gottstein.at). We will refund the money of the delivery costs to you. 

For customers outside of the EU: We apologize, but we cannot refund the delivery costs back to Austria as well as the customs fees/duties.



Return policy

All articles purchased on www.gottstein.at may be sent back within 14 days after receipt for free by using the return sticker (for Austria and Germany). Customers from other countries may return articles within 14 days to the following address:

Please note that in case the articles must be in the same condition as they were before and include the original label. In case they are returned in an impaired condition, we reserve the right to refuse to accept the return and issue an invoice for the impairment.

Refund for returns

Refunds are initiated immediately after receipt of your return. From the return date it can take up to 14 days until we processed and transferred your refund. We refund with the same payment method as used for your initial payment. If necessary, we might ask you to send us your bank details.

Return label (only for Customers from Austria and Germany)

The return label is attached in your package. In case you should require an additional return label, please contact our customer service via e-mail or phone. We will send you a new return sticker via e-mail.
