Product description

Dakota Slipper socks for men and women. The outer material is a robust woolen fabric made from 100% virgin wool made in our factory. The padded leather sole is particularly soft and comfortable. With this slipper you can walk quietly and softly, like walking on clouds. The ribbed cuffs ensure a good fit and a comfortable fit. The felted fabric is produced with a lot of expertise in our factory for these slippers and milled with pure Tyrolean mountain water, without any additives. The ribbed cuff is knitted by our master knitter with great attention to detail and all parts, including the sole, are cut in our factory in Tyrol.

Yarn from sheep

We only use natural new wool from sheep. Virgin wool is the shorn wool from live sheep. The wool is felted in our factory in Tyrol, Austria, without the use of any chemicals. In this way, we reduce the environmental impact to a minimum. Gottstein stands for a nature-loving and home-loving manufacturer who is prepared to take responsibility for our environment. The guiding principle of our company has always been a quote from Charles Darwin: "Anything that is against nature will not last in the long run".
As a family business from Austria, we have been working for generations only with materials that nature has given us. In addition to our fine virgin wool, we use natural materials such as natural cork, natural latex and vegetable-tanned leather for the production of our felt slippers.

Care

Care Even though wool has a natural ability to clean itself, from time to time your "Gottstein" slippers also need a beauty treatment. Step 1: Knocking and brushing Knocking is a simple way to remove accumulated dust from your slippers. Many small stains and fluff can then be easily removed with a hard brush. Step 2: Stain removal Our slippers are moulded in pure mountain water, so they should never be completely soaked. Stubborn stains can easily be removed with a damp cotton cloth and a little mild soap suds. Caution: Never dry in the sun or on a heat source.
